The Risks of Advanced Tooth Loss

Partials
The partial is designed to help people who have multiple missing teeth spread out across the arch. This is too severe for a bridge, but there are enough natural teeth in place that a full isn’t needed either. With a partial, we have new ceramic teeth set in an acrylic base. The teeth are designed and shaded to look natural, and the base mimics the appearance of gum tissue. There are metal clasps that attach to natural teeth, and help hold the new teeth in place, so you have a full smile.
Fulls
A full set of dentures replaces every tooth on one or both arches. There is a complete row of custom ceramic teeth set in a base, and suction and/or adhesives are used to keep the dentures in place, so you can eat your favorite foods and speak closely. Removable options, whether full or partial, tend to last about 5 to 10 years, requiring replacement as the jaw ridge changes shape.
Implant-Secured
If we support them with dental implants, we insert posts that act as new roots and prevent the jaw ridge from changing shape. We connect the prosthetic to the implant post, and you have a set that can last decades to come, possibly a lifetime!
