Has your spring cleaning included trying to dispose of your prescription drugs that you may no longer need but aren’t sure how to properly get rid of? If so, you may still have bottles of them cluttering up your medicine cabinet because you’re simply not sure about what to do. Good news: The upcoming National Prescription Drug Take Back Day takes the challenge out of this conundrum!
What Is This?
The drug take back day is a chance for you to responsibly and carefully remove prescription drugs from your home without accidentally getting rid of them in a way that can be hazardous for our environment and our community. You’ll bring them to the designated location for collection.
Where Is It?
You may bring your medication to the Police Department, where officers will be standing by to help! The address follows:
7710 Mission Road
Prairie Village, KS 66208
When Is This?
Gather up your pill bottles and more and get them out of your home on April 28th, 2018 from 10am to 1pm.
